PSA Training Providers
Every provider on the PSA's approved list, listed alphabetically
The Private Security Authority keeps the official list of approved training providers, and it will only accept qualifications from those trainers. All 15 providers on the PSA's list dated 2 July 2026 are below (checked 6 October 2026), and each provider's page gives the contact details on the list. The PSA updates its list from time to time: check the current one on psa-gov.ie (Training Information) before you book.

These providers are not on the PSA's list of approved training providers (checked 6 October 2026), though their own websites show security courses. The PSA says it will only accept qualifications from approved trainers. Check with the PSA before you rely on one of these courses for a licence.

On the PSA's List
Make sure the provider is on the PSA's current list for the licence you want. The list gives each provider's sectors, such as Door Supervisor or Security Guarding.
Location & Convenience
Consider travel time and costs. Some providers teach part of the course online.
Dates & Fees
Ask the provider when its next course runs, what it costs and what the fee includes.
Important: Only Use PSA-Approved Providers
Make sure your training provider is on the PSA's list of approved training providers. The PSA will only accept qualifications from approved trainers. Before you enrol, check the list on psa-gov.ie.
