Vodafone Loyalty Discount Scam – One-Time Code Theft

Scammers call victims claiming to be from Vodafone, offering a 40% discount on bills for the next 12 months as a reward for being a loyal, long-standing customer. The call sounds convincing and professional. However, the real goal is to get you to hand over one-time verification codes sent by Vodafone to your phone. These codes give scammers access to your Vodafone account, allowing them to change your password, order devices, set up eSIMs, or hijack your number entirely. This is a form of vishing (voice phishing) and is not endorsed or conducted by Vodafone Ireland.
